Community
Community is a confined, safe place to interact with your people by adding them as members.
Groups
Groups can be formed within the community by adding their users. Any of the community users can create groups.
Announcements
Important announcements can be made within the community only by the admins, while the users can just view them.
Calendar Events
Significant events can be added on the calendar by the community admins, and it is visible to all its members.
Addressbook
Community members' profiles are listed under the address book and are accessible to verified users.
Web Contents
All kinds of website content belonging to the community are displayed under this tab to all its members.
Nokoo has two types of communities based on the ways of joining the community. The admin of the community decides the community type and controls its settings. Invite: Any user can join this community once they get the invite to join. Request and Grant: The user can send a request to join the community. The admin of the community can approve them, and then they become community members.
Any of the community users can form groups within the community by adding its users as group members. Once a member starts a new group, he automatically becomes the group admin. Further, only he can add more users to the group. He can make the other group members the admin; then, they also get the admin privileges. Only group admins can add or remove a group member. All the group members can view and send the messages within the group.
As the name suggests, this feature is exclusively built for making important announcements within the community. Only admins of the individual communities can create announcements and post new messages on them. Also, all the community members can view the announcements.
Important events can be added to the Nokoo calendar only by the community admins. Information such as event start date, and end date, along with start time and end time, can be mentioned in the event section. Event name, event photo, and event URL can also be added. The events shall be displayed according to the selected global time zone.
Each community has all of its members listed under the address book feature. The user profile under the address book has the Profile Photo, User’s Name, Address, Email Id, State, and Zip Code. Under the address book, users have the option to leave the community while only the admins can remove or make another user the community admin.
